Airbrush base finished and model ready for the most fun part: the weathering.
I used Star Decals to represent a model in Norway, a very interesting campaign that is rarely covered by modellers.
In my opinion, the initial camouflage is very attractive and suits the Panzer I Ausf. B particularly well.

Base aerográfica terminada y maqueta lista para lo más divertido: el weathering.
He usado las calcas de Star Decals para representar un ejemplar de en Noruega, campaña muy interesante y poco tratada por los modelistas.
En mi opinión el camuflaje inicial es muy bonito y le queda especialmente bien al Panzer I Ausf. B.

WIP: Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf.B; Tamiya1/35

Ready to paint this little gem from TAMIYA（タミヤ）, to which I have made some improvements, some of which were really unnecessary.
I have added some resin-printed parts such as tool fasteners, hooks, etc. The hooks are fine because they have small holes, but the tool fasteners are very fragile and brittle and have been a bit of a pain, as I have had to replace them piece by piece and I think they would have been better in FG. The chains are also printed in E.T. resin. They assemble well, but you have to be careful because of the small size of the links, some of which were damaged during assembly and ended up being just right, another one broken and ‘not reaching’. Link by link always looks better, but really Tamiya’s section option is more than enough and you can save yourself the trouble if you decide to build the kit.
The machine guns are very good. I was going to replace them, but there’s no need as they are practically perfect. As usual with Tamiya, the moulding and fit are perfect.

Lista para pintar esta pequeña joya de TAMIYA（タミヤ）, a la que le he hecho algunas mejoras, que realmente algunas no hubieran hecho falta.
Le he implementado algunas piezas impresas en resina como los cierres de herramientas, ganchos, etc., los ganchos están bien porque incorporan los pequeños orificios, pero los cierres de herramientas son muy frágiles y quebradizos y han sido una pequeña tortura, pues he tenido que ir reponiendo a trozos y creo que hubieran quedado mejor de FG, las cadenas son también impresas en resinas de E.T. Model, se montan bien, pero hay que ir con cuidado debido al pequeño tamaño de los eslabones que también algunos se han estropeado durante el montaje y al final han quedado justos, otro más roto y «no llego», siempre quedan mejor eslabón a eslabón, pero realmente la opción de Tamiya a tramos es más que suficiente y os lo podéis ahorrar si decidís contruir el kit.
Muy bien las ametralladoras, iba a sustituirlas pero no hace falta vienen prácticamente perfectas. Como es habitual en Tamiya moldeado y encaje perfectos.
Sin más rollos las fotos y ya lo estoy pintando…

WIP U.S. Tank Crewman, Tamiya 1/35.

Ready to paint this beautiful figurine of the new TAMIYA（タミヤ） batches. I have improved it by adding the Polaroid goggles with the strap, detailed the ‘Winter Tankers Cloth Helmet’ with the straps of the chinstrap and I have also added some binoculars to give it more interest.
With this one I will give a workshop in my club, Almeria Modelismo, on the principles of painting figures, and make the summer more bearable.

Lista para pintar esta preciosa figurilla de las nuevas hornadas de TAMIYA（タミヤ）. La he mejorado añadiéndole a las gafas Polaroid la cinta de sujeción, detallado del «Winter Tankers Cloth Helmet» con las correillas del barboquejo y le he añadido también unos prismáticos para darle mas interés.
Con esta impartiré un Taller en mi club, Almeria Modelismo, sobre principios de pintura de figuras, y hacer el verano más llevadero.

Finalizado el JS-2, ahora toca prepararle una figurilla y su pequeño escenario para que luzca como merece, un proyecto muy interesante que he disfrutado muchísimo.

These days are «airbrushing days», I’ve got the hang of it and I’m preparing primers and colour bases.
Now it’s the JS-2’s turn, I’ve used a mixture that I had prepared for a long time in a pot, the advantages of the durability of the Tamiya colours, I’ve “animated” it a little with XF-4 and XF-15, looking for a greyish 4BO Green, as always natural colour gradations and looking for improving the volumes of the model.
I have painted the insignia by hand, with the necessary care to make them look good, but you can see that they were painted by hand as was usual at the time, the eagles are from a sheet of decals that I have kept for some time and I do not know the origin.

Estos días son de «aerografo», le he cogido el gusto a l a herramiento y estoy preparando imprimaciones y bases de color.
Ahora le ha tocado al JS-2, he usado una mezcla que tenía prepara desde hace mucho en un bote, las ventajas de la durabilidad de los colores de Tamiya, la he «animado » un poco con XF-4 y XF-15, busncado un 4BO Green grisáceo, como siempre gradaciones de color naturales y buscando mejorar los volúmenes del modelo.
Las insignias las he pintado a mano, con el esmero necesario para que queden bien, pero que se note que estaban pintadas a mano como era usual en la época, las águilas son de una hoja de calcas que tengo guardada desde hace tiempo y que desconozco el origen.

W.I.P. JS-2 MODEL 1944 ChKZ, Tamiya 1/48. Ready to Paint

Montaje finalizado de esta preciosa maqueta de Tamiya, este modelo lo he hecho para participar en el Grupo de los «Paranormales» una congragación de modelistas en los que el buen humor, las  risas y las cervezas son muy importante, sin descuidar eso si, las maquetas, en todo caso no hay que dejarse llevar por equívocos, bajo la cortina de humo del cachondeo y el cerveceo hay mucho talento en ese grupo de modelistas.

Todos los años asisten al Clinic y hacen una maqueta para traerla al certamen y he querido sumarme a la iniciativa.

Ciñéndome a la maqueta propiamente dicha, he usado para detallarla el fotograbado de Hauler y el cañón de Aber, el resto de mejoras están hechas con materiales básicos. Por favor sed indulgentes con las cadenas que solo están presentadas para las fotografías, en breve empezaré a pintar.

The painting of the model is going downhill, there are still the tools, retouching and reinforcing some effects and little more. The next photos will be of the finished vehicle.
